The Fine Print - Terms and Conditions of Sale

 

Each Travel Supplier has their own Terms and Conditions of Sale.  

The terms are pretty much standard among the suppliers and it's imperative that you have an understanding of the deadlines, deposit amounts, penalties for changes, cancellations, etc., prior to placing your deposit.

 

Your deposit constitutes agreement to these terms and your reservation becomes a binding contract. Please take the time to review the information below carefully.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Funjet Vacations Group Terms Apply: 

Reservations are on a first come first serve basis and are subject to availability at the time of inquiry.

  • Deposit Deadline: July 10, 2018

  • Deposit: $50 per person

  • The Payee: Funjet Vacations

  • The Group Block will freeze on August 02, 2018. No changes or additions can be made.

  • Each guest will be provided with an individual invoice.

  • Reservation Change Fee: $50 per person

  • Reservation Cancellation:

  • Now until  August 02, 2018: No Cancel fee

  • August 02 to August 26, 2018: One night per person 

  • (Entire group cancellation will result in a 2 night per person cancel fee)

  • August 27 to September 25, 2018: Two night per person

  • (Entire group cancellation will result in a 3 night per person cancel fee)

  • If group is reduce more than 10% after August 03, higher penalties will apply)

  • Airline Itineraries are due no later than September 17, 2018

  • Airline Itineraries submitted post deadline are subject to a $35 processing fee.

Funjet Vacation penalties are in addition to Connections by O'Brien Travel, LLC. penalties noted in the Terms and Conditions of Sale below.

Connections by O’Brien Travel Terms and Agreement

 

Responsibilities:

Connections by O’Brien Travel, LLC. (known as COBT throughout this agreement), acts only in the capacity of the agent for the wholesaler and other suppliers of the travel services providing services or goods relating to the trip (the Suppliers), such as airlines, cruise lines, hotels, rail, car rental, sightseeing tour operator, travel insurance, bus lines and providers of entertainment.  Connections by O’Brien Travel, LLC. assumes no responsibility for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be occasioned either by (1) any act or omission of any of the Suppliers, (2) any matter beyond our exclusive control including, but not limited to a delay and/or cancellation of a flight that causes you to miss any portion of your trip.  Connections by O’Brien Travel, LLC. Has no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the Suppliers, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel.  For information concerning possible dangers at destinations, Connections by O’Brien Travel, LLC. recommends contacting the Travel Warnings Section of the U.S. State Department at (202) 647-5225 or click on www.travel.state.gov for more information.

Passenger Responsibilities

Connections by O’Brien Travel, LLC. requires the lead client to fill out the COBT Reservation Form.  It is the Passenger’s responsibility to give the LEGAL name as it appears on either on their Valid Driver’s License or Valid Passport along with their date of birth.  Any name corrections required after monies have been applied to the booking, will result in a minimum 50.00USD per person name change fee.  As a reminder, MOST airlines do not allow name changes due to TSA Regulations.

Passengers are responsible for making sure that their Valid Passport has at least 6 months validity prior to the passport’s expiration date along with blank pages for any possible Visas required for entry requirements by the Country you are traveling to (i.e. China.) Also, if passenger has been convicted of any crimes, they may be denied entry to the country that they are planning on visiting.  It is up to the passenger to check with the country’s entry requirements prior to booking their vacation.

Travel Protection Plan

Connections by O’Brien Travel, LLC. highly recommends that the passengers purchase the Travel Protection Plan.   The plan will give you a piece of mind knowing that should an unforeseen situation come up prior to departing for your trip as well as during your vacation, you will be covered depending on the type of insurance you chose. Many tour operators offer Cancel for Any Reason Plans which allows you to cancel your trip prior to stepping on the aircraft prior to departure.  Connections by O’Brien Travel is not an insurance consultant, any questions relating to travel insurance should be made with the insurance company of choice.

Should passenger decline the Travel Protection Plan, it is mandatory that the passenger who is declining the Travel Protection Plan do so in writing.

Conduct:

Connections by O’Brien Travel, LLC. will perform in a professional manner with all clients. Connections by O’Brien Travel, LLC. reserves the right to refuse service to any passenger and/or guests.  COBT is here to provide the best services as possible, in doing so, COBT will NOT tolerate abusive and/or aggressive behavior from our clients. Such behavior by clients will not enhance our service.  COBT will refuse to deal with people who verbally assault the agent or who continue to be abusive or aggressively when asked to behave reasonably. Verbal abuse including name calling, bullying, shouting or swearing, threatening will result in cessation of service to the client.  All penalties will apply per this contract.

Payments

Connections by O’Brien Travel, LLC. accepts Mastercard, Visa, and American Express for payments.  No checks are accepted for deposits.  Checks to be applied to final payment will require to be received minimum 21 days prior to final payment due date to give plenty of time for check to clear by both banks.  Payment plans are available depending on payment time lines by the tour operator.  Please note some debit cards only allowed to take small amounts out of checking account per day, this for the protection of the cardholder.

Late final payments will incur a late payment fee of 35.00USD per transaction in addition to any fees by the tour operator.

Changes to itinerary

COBT shall not be responsible for any changes, modification or cancellation by the supplier of itineraries, air carrier, routing, scheduling, departure date, level of service, etc.  Fluctuation in fares, rates surcharges and/or price differentials.  

COBT allows one complimentary change fee by passenger once deposit has been received (this does not include any possible supplier change fees.)  Subsequent changes prior to final payment, will result in a 50.00USD per person change fee plus any fees access by the suppliers.

Cancellations:

Passenger is responsible for all penalties as a result of their actions.  Cancellations MUST be submitted to Connections by O’Brien Travel, LLC. in writing by the passenger who booked the reservation (if traveling with non-family member, all parties must request cancellation in writing.

​

COBT has a 50.00USD per person administrative cancel fee once deposit has been received.   Once booking has been paid in full and passenger choses to cancel booking, COBT has a 150.00USD per person administrative cancel fee.   These fees are in addition to any cancel fees charged by the travel supplier (tour operator, airline, hotel, car rental, cruise line, etc.)
